Oyster is seeking a Global Payroll Analyst for a 9-month fixed-term contract. Remote within EMEA, you will optimize global payroll processes, analyze data, and support compliant operations across countries.

You will partner with payroll providers, finance, and HR to ensure accurate, timely payroll while driving efficiency improvements. The role requires 3+ years in payroll analysis, strong Excel skills, and experience with multi-country payroll.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in payroll analysis or related payroll/finance roles.
• Hands-on multi-country payroll experience and understanding of payroll tax and compliance.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and producing actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills including lookups, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
• Experience with payroll software and basic data-transformation tooling.
• High attention to detail and strong control mindset, especially in audits and reconciliations.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across functions and with external providers.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, analyze, and interpret multi-country payroll data for accurate processing and reporting.
• Validate payroll inputs and outputs; resolve discrepancies in employee records, taxes, deductions, and payments.
• Support payroll processing and ensure country-level payroll and tax compliance.
• Conduct regular payroll audits and reconcile records with general-ledger accounts.
• Investigate trends and root causes; recommend improvements to accuracy and controls.
