Jobgether SRL, a partner company, seeks an Accountant to manage German entity accounting, VAT filings, and financial reporting in a fully remote setting across Europe. You will coordinate with finance teams, external advisors, and payroll providers to ensure compliant, accurate records and timely closes.

The role requires 3+ years in German accounting under HGB, strong Excel skills, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience with HGB and German tax rules.
• Experience in software/SaaS industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting, reconciliations, closing procedures and reporting.
• Fluency in German and English; EU resident with right to work in Europe.
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-currency accounting is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day accounting for German entities, ensuring accurate records.
• Support month- and year-end close, journal entries and adjustments.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and review balances for accuracy.
• Process supplier payments and intercompany reconciliations, with approvals.
• Prepare German VAT filings and assist payroll tax declarations with advisors.
• Assist with annual financial statements under HGB and audits.
