Intuitive Surgical in Portugal is seeking a seasoned Field Service Engineer to support da Vinci systems remotely with onsite visits as needed. You will work independently, manage technical escalations, and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and surgeons.

Responsibilities include installation planning, on-site training, maintenance scheduling, parts management, and contributing to service contracts guided by safety and quality standards.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in the medical device industry.
• College degree in engineering or applied science preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilidades

• Senior da Vinci Surgical technical expert across all system platforms.
• Analyze customer requirements to ensure effective system installation and site readiness.
• Autonomously manage and schedule on-site visits to maximize uptime.
• Provide on-site training and escalate issues to Product Support when needed.
• Engage in service contract renewals and communicate value propositions to hospitals.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and service documentation.
