TuxCare is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Language Security Research function. You will oversee four teams (Java, JavaScript/Go, Python, PHP) of about 18 engineers, shaping technical direction and delivery standards across language ecosystems.

You will implement CVE analysis, patch backporting, and security release processes, drive CI/CD improvements, and ensure SLA compliance while mentoring talent and coordinating with OS and platform teams. Remote work offered.

Qualificações

• 6+ years hands-on software development across multiple language ecosystems.
• 3+ years engineering leadership (Team Lead or Engineering Manager) in a product company.
• Proven experience with technical delivery and accountability for team outcomes.
• Solid Java experience; knowledge of JavaScript/Go/Python/PHP is a plus.
• Hands-on security research or vulnerability analysis experience (CVE triage, patch backporting).
• Ability to work effectively in distributed teams and with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop four teams (Java, JavaScript/Go, Python, PHP) totalling ~18 engineers.
• Set standards for CVE analysis, vulnerability assessment, patch backporting, and release processes.
• Drive consistency in tooling and workflows (CI/CD pipelines, patch delivery, release processes).
• Oversee SLA compliance across language platforms and align with client expectations.
• Coordinate with OS, Docker, and platform teams; manage scope boundaries between teams.
• Mentor engineers and drive career development and performance.
