iTRTech Group is hiring a Security Patching Operations Specialist for a fully remote role within Portugal. The night shift runs from 00:00 to 08:00 CET, and candidates must be based in Portugal with English at B2 level.

You will coordinate and execute patching across Windows Server, Linux, and VMware ESXi, ensuring security and compliance in a fast-paced IT environment. This entry-level to junior role focuses on patch management, vulnerability assessment, and collaboration with infrastructure

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of professional IT infrastructure, systems administration, or related experience.
• Solid Windows Server administration knowledge.
• Familiarity with Windows Server 2012 R2 to 2022.
• Basic Windows Server troubleshooting skills.
• Basic patch-management knowledge.
• Familiarity with antivirus/endpoint-security solutions.
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• Available to work night shift 12:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m. CET.
• Portugal-based residents only.

Responsabilidades

• Execute patch-management activities across Windows Server environments.
• Support patching for Linux servers and VMware ESXi.
• Assess patching needs and prioritise updates.
• Coordinate maintenance windows with multiple teams.
• Monitor patching results and investigate failures.
• Support antivirus and endpoint-security operations.
• Maintain security compliance against KPIs.
• Update incidents and patch records in the ticketing system.
• Participate in service reviews and ITIL processes.
• Maintain patching documentation and procedures.
