Air Apps, a remote-first software company, seeks a Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain server-side components powering our growing suite of apps. You will collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other teams to deliver robust APIs and scalable services.

Candidates should have a CS degree or equivalent, hands-on experience with Java/Go/Python/Ruby, and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, plus cloud and microservices.

Qualificações

• Degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science or related field.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages and frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and distributed systems.
• Strong analytical and collaborative problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with product, frontend and other teams to deliver scalable backend services.
• Ensure security, testing, and code quality through tests and reviews.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and maintenance for reliable services.
• Support production issues with timely troubleshooting and fixes.
