EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to join a global remote team. You will contribute across the software lifecycle, delivering scalable backend services with Java/Spring Boot and Python/Django when needed.

You will design RESTful APIs, optimize PostgreSQL/MySQL databases, and ensure security with OWASP practices while collaborating with architects, developers, and cybersecurity experts. Proficiency in English is required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in professional software engineering with Java backend development.
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.
• Proficiency in Python and Django for complementary tasks.
• Strong design of scalable RESTful APIs and relational databases.

Responsabilidades

• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain features in Python and Django where required.
• Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, and effort estimation.
• Write clean, secure code following object-oriented design and clean code principles.
• Design and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and queries.
