Job summary

Hexa Group is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with 4+ years of experience to strengthen IT infrastructure operations in the insurance sector. This fully remote role is based in Portugal and emphasizes Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and complex infrastructure troubleshooting.

You will own critical escalations, resolve issues at root cause, and implement improvements to boost service reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT infrastructure engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure, Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience solving complex infrastructure incidents and technical escalations.
• Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL, incident/change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Own complex infrastructure escalations from investigation to resolution.
• Analyze recurring incidents and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Azure, Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Resolve identity management, access, databases and cloud service issues.
• Support IaaS, PaaS and on-premises environments.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell.
• Document incidents and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, service desk and external providers.
• Support deployments, system changes and technical projects.
• Transfer knowledge to support teams to improve autonomy.
