Job summary

Devopsroles in Lisbon is seeking a Senior 3rd Line Azure Engineer & Technical Customer Contact to deliver expert Azure engineering while acting as the primary liaison for assigned customers.

You will resolve complex incidents, drive changes, coordinate service activities, and build trusted relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure governance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or cloud operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in Managed Services or enterprise support environments.
• Experience leading complex technical incidents and change implementations.
• Experience interacting directly with customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced 3rd line support for Azure and Microsoft infrastructure platforms.
• Investigate and resolve complex incidents and problem tickets.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
• Lead technical implementation of changes, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, resiliency, and security initiatives.
• Drive automation and operational efficiency.
• Act as escalation point for 2nd line engineers.
• Review and validate technical procedures and operational documentation.
• Coach and mentor less experienced engineers.
