Job summary

AUTODOC is seeking a Regional Payroll Expert to oversee payroll across Western & Southern Europe, including Portugal. This role bridges local regulatory requirements with our global payroll strategy, ensuring accurate, on‑time payments for multiple entities.

You will collaborate with People, Finance, Tax, Legal and Treasury to optimize processes, manage vendors, and drive payroll improvements in a fast‑growing European business. A hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in regional payroll, especially in Southern/Western Europe.
• Fluent in English; French/Portuguese/Italian often beneficial for local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll for Western & Southern Europe (UK/France/Italy/Portugal) ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor regional regulatory changes and ensure compliant payroll processes.
• Coordinate with local providers and in-country partners to meet SLAs and data quality.
• Harmonize regional payroll workflows with global standards and support payroll system implementations.
• Serve as Tier 2 escalation for complex payroll inquiries and audits.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, Tax, Legal and Treasury to align payroll operations.
