Flix in Lisbon is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee bus partner operations, drive improvements in fleet, drivers, and service quality, and expand our presence at stations in Portugal. The role requires coordinating with internal teams and maintaining high standards of operational execution.

You will monitor performance metrics, work monthly travel across the country, and lead initiatives to ensure timely, reliable service while adhering to Flixprocedures and safety standards.

Qualificações

• 3–6 years of experience in operations (transportation) in Portugal and/or Spain or similar dynamic daily environment.
• Strong social and negotiation skills for dealing with bus terminal managers, drivers and partners.
• Willingness to travel monthly with overnight stays; occasional international travel.
• Native/proficient Portuguese and fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage operational topics concerning Flixbus’ bus partners.
• Monitor KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to improve partner performance.
• Develop long-lasting partnerships and Flix presence in bus stations, esp. Porto area.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, train and develop drivers, and conduct inspections.
• Improve start-up quality of new lines; focus on fleet, drivers, and punctuality.
• Participate in cross-functional operational projects; provide field support as needed.
• Coordinate with Line Planning and Business Development for seamless operations.
