Job summary

InnoTech in Porto, Portugal is seeking an Integration Quality Analyst to lead testing across backend and middleware systems. You will design test strategies, execute manual and automated tests, and ensure quality gates before releases.

Your Mission Will Be

• Define and manage integration testing strategies, QA scope, test plans, and coverage objectives, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements;
• Execute manual and automated integration tests across back-end and middleware systems, validating interfaces, data exchanges, and end-to-end workflows;
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to investigate root causes, validate fixes, and perform regression testing;
• Monitor QA readiness, test execution progress, automation coverage, and quality metrics, providing clear reporting and recommendations for release Go/No-Go decisions;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing gaps, manage delivery risks, and continuously improve QA processes and automation practices.

You Will Need

• Strong professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, particularly testing back-end and middleware applications, with the ability to independently manage QA scope and delivery readiness;
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated integration testing, test planning, defect management, regression testing, and test automation tools;
• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation, combined with good knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools;
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, QA quality gates, test coverage, risk assessment, and release management processes, alongside fluent English communication skills;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• Previous experience testing Banking, Brokerage, or Financial Market applications, particularly within cash or derivatives trading environments;
• Knowledge and practical experience using AI tools to support test case creation, test automation, and continuous improvement of QA processes;
• Familiarity with automated integration regression testing, root cause analysis, and complex system dependencies;
• Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and other technical stakeholders;
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
