Job summary

InnoTech is hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own the QA strategy for a high-impact SaaS e-invoicing solution. You will design, build, and maintain automated API tests using SoapUI alongside Playwright and Cypress, while blending manual testing to ensure coverage.

Collaborate with global teams in an Agile setup to deliver robust software. You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows, ensuring quality across REST/OpenAPI microservices and cloud integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience in API testing and automation across functional, performance and security dimensions.
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks and integration into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to collaborate with international teams.

Your Mission Will Be:

• Take ownership of the QA strategy and ensure the quality and reliability of a high-impact SaaS e-invoicing solution;
• Design, develop and maintain automated API and integration tests, with a strong focus on SoapUI;
• Combine automation with manual testing where required, continuously increasing test coverage and improving QA processes;
• Contribute to CI/CD, infrastructure and backend-related activities, embracing a strong DevOps mindset;
• Work closely with international teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver reliable and high-quality solutions.

You Will Need:

• Solid experience in API testing with SoapUI, including functional, performance and security testing, alongside tools such as Postman, Insomnia, Selenium or Cucumber;
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress, and performance testing with JMeter;
• Good understanding of REST, OpenAPI and microservices, with experience integrating automated test suites into Jenkins or GitLab pipelines using Bash scripting;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English;

Would Be Awesome If You Have:

• Experience working with SQL databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL, as well as messaging technologies including AWS SQS/SNS or GCP Pub/Sub;
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
