Hexa Consulting in Porto is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for a hybrid role with one on-site day per week. The role blends manual and automated testing, starting with manual focus and a path toward automation.

You will analyze requirements, design test cases, perform tests, document results, and collaborate with dev and product teams, while improving QA processes and delivery reliability.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of QA or software testing experience.
• Experience with manual testing and interest in automation.
• Ability to understand product behavior and identify quality risks.
• Strong communication in English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements and define test scenarios, test cases and validation criteria.
• Execute manual tests to identify defects, validate functionality and support product quality.
• Document test results, report issues clearly and collaborate with development and product teams on resolution.
• Contribute to the gradual introduction and optimization of automated testing practices.
• Support continuous improvement of quality assurance processes, testing standards and delivery reliability.
