Job summary

Quanteam, founding entity of Rainbow Partners, seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to improve testing practices and define test strategies. You will design, execute and maintain manual and automated tests across web, REST API, DB and batch processes.

We require Java/Groovy, Cucumber/Gherkin, Katalon, and strong JIRA/Xray/Git experience in an Agile environment. Hybrid role in Lisbon/Porto with health insurance and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Define test strategy and improve testing practices.
• Collaborate with analysts to define tests and acceptance criteria.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests.
• Develop and maintain automated tests.
• Test web apps, REST APIs, databases and batch processes.
• Manage test cases, execution, defects and CI/CD integration.
• Work in an Agile environment supporting test automation development.
• Familiar with Java and Groovy.
• Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin and Katalon.
• Proficient with JIRA and Xray; Git/Bitbucket; Jenkins and CI/CD.
• Experience testing web apps and REST APIs; SQL proficient.
• Ability to use CLI and monitor batch processes.
• Knowledge of test strategy, design, execution and regression testing.
• Fluent English (B2+).
