Hexa Group is seeking an experienced Python software engineer to join its Lisbon-based IT risk management team. You will develop and maintain backend applications, delivering robust data-processing and risk-related features.

In a hybrid Lisbon environment, you will apply software engineering best practices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously improve system quality and security.

Join a technology team supporting IT risk management within the banking sector. Based in Lisbon with a hybrid working model, you will contribute to the development and evolution of internal risk-related applications using Python and PL/SQL.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop and maintain applications supporting IT risk management activities.
• Implement reliable backend components and data-processing logic using Python, SQL and PL/SQL.
• Apply software engineering principles, design patterns and development best practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Contribute to application quality, maintainability and continuous improvement within an established technology environment.
• Collaborate with technical teams involved in development, deployment and operational processes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• At least 6 years of professional experience in Python software development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with an autonomous approach to technical delivery.
