Natixis in Portugal is seeking a Senior Python Developer to architect and deliver robust backend solutions using Python and Django. You will design scalable REST APIs, optimize query performance, and manage MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle databases while building automation pipelines for testing and deployment.

You will mentor junior and mid developers, lead SDLC activities, and ensure alignment with stakeholders across the organisation.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of software development experience focusing on backend, architecture, data integration and automation.
• Portuguese language is mandatory.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior python Developer , with a strong focus on Python, Django, performance, API design, database management, and automation. The ideal candidate combines solid technical expertise with leadership capabilities and the ability to mentor junior/mid.

Qualifications

• 7+ yearsof experience in software development, specializing in backend development, system architecture, data integration, and automation
• Proven expertise inPython (level 5/5)— including development of modular data transformation engines, automation scripts, and Django-based applications
• Experience inDjango (level 3/5)— web application development, unit and functional testing
• Mastery ofREST and SOAP APIs (level 5/5)— development of secure proxies and system integrations
• Strongdatabaseexpertise in MySQL (5/5) and Oracle (5/5), including query performance optimization, as well as experience with PostgreSQL
• Solidautomationbackground — Python scripts, BASH scripting, and command-line tools
• Experience inautomated testing— unit tests, functional tests, and Selenium
• Ability todesign modular, extensible, and scalable architectures

Portuguese is mandatory

English is mandatory, minimum C1 level.
