Hitachi Rail Portugal, S.A. is seeking a Planner in hybrid regime to join our team in Paço de Arcos, Portugal. You will support Project Managers in planning, monitoring and controlling project activities across the lifecycle, developing schedules, baselines and performance dashboards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or PM with at least 3 years in PMO or planning. Railway/large-scale infra experience is a plus; fluency in English is mandatory.

• Minimum 3 years in PMO, Project Controls or Project Coordination.
• Experience in railway, transportation, infrastructure or large-scale engineering projects is a plus.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Support Project Managers in planning, monitoring and control of project activities throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones and baseline plans using PM tools.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations and support corrective actions.
• Prepare project performance reports, dashboards and management presentations.
• Support project forecasting activities, including workload planning and resource allocation.
• Monitor project KPIs and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
• Support governance activities, project reviews and milestones.

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Planner in hybrid regime to join Hitachi Rail Portugal.

• Support Project Managers in the planning, monitoring and control of project activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones and baseline plans using project management tools.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Prepare project performance reports, dashboards and management presentations.
• Support project forecasting activities, including workload planning, resource allocation and schedule updates.
• Monitor project KPIs and contribute to project performance improvement initiatives.
• Support the preparation and follow-up of project invoicing and contractual milestones.
• Coordinate project data collection and ensure consistency of project reporting information.
• Contribute to risk and opportunity management activities.
• Support governance activities, project reviews and management meetings.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Good knowledge of Project Management methodologies and principles.
• Experience in project scheduling, planning and project controls activities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Oracle Primavera P6 .
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience in project reporting, KPI monitoring and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of Power BI is considered an advantage.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PMO, Project Controls, Project Planning or Project Coordination roles.
• Experience in railway, transportation, infrastructure or large-scale engineering projects is considered an advantage.
• IPMA Certification is considered an advantage.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
