ACT Digital is seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer to ensure stability, automation, and continuous improvement of production applications. You will work with development, infrastructure, database, and operations teams to support critical environments and manage releases.

The role involves hybrid work with 2 days per week in the Porto office, coordinating operations, documenting procedures, and contributing to automation initiatives across the production stack.

Qualificações

• Experience in Windows and Unix/Linux operating environments.
• Hands-on scripting with Shell (KSH) and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with industrial scheduling tools (Control-M, BMC) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and related SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and collaboration platforms (Jenkins, Jira, Confluence).
• Proficiency in Python development and automation.
• Strong incident management and production support capabilities.
• Professional English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate operations and infrastructure changes including server migrations and shutdowns.
• Create and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation.
• Document components, architecture, and monitoring requirements.
• Manage releases and deployments of applications to production.
• Schedule and monitor batch processing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during deployments and incidents.
• Participate in on-call rotations and staggered schedules as needed.
• Contribute to automation and standardization of production processes.
