Job summary

Inetum in Lisbon is seeking a Production Engineer to join a team responsible for the stability, availability, and performance of critical applications. You will monitor production applications and infrastructure, manage incidents, and support deployments.

The role emphasizes automation, on-call coverage, and collaboration with Development, Infrastructure, and Business teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, Infrastructure Operations or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with application servers and web technologies (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, .NET or Java).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana or Geneos.
• Scripting experience with Python, Shell or SQL.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Basic understanding of SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to participate in an on-call support rotation when required.
