Lever, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner for our partner company based in Portugal, focused on recommendation systems and post-purchase activation.

You will own the journey from discovery to personalized experiences, collaborating with engineering, design, analytics, and ML teams to turn hypotheses into improvements. This remote, international role emphasizes data-driven decision making, segmentation, experimentation, and scalable product delivery.

Qualificações

• Hands-on B2C product experience focused on activation, onboarding, or first-session experiences.
• Experience with discovery-driven products featuring large catalogs or listings.
• Understanding of search relevance, matching systems, and personalized recommendations.
• Experience with segmentation, personalization, and enriching offers with data.
• Background in marketplaces, aggregators, or e-commerce with large catalogs.
• Ability to formulate hypotheses and define measurable success criteria.
• Proven track record delivering product from idea to evaluation.
• Strong ability to design and analyze A/B tests and experiments.
• Comfort blending qualitative and quantitative research to inform decisions.
• Strong product metrics sense with growth opportunities from data.

Responsabilidades

• Own the post-purchase customer journey, focusing on activation, matching, relevance, and fast value realization.
• Optimize offer volume and recommendation quality for relevant, not overwhelming results.
• Improve relevance and trust in recommendations and increase invitations to paying customers.
• Increase likelihood new customers achieve a quality match in the first week.
• Design engagement mechanics like gamification, nudges, reminders, and reactivation features.
• Analyze matching parameters across segments and apply personalization and data enrichment.
• Identify bottlenecks and growth opportunities using data and research.
• Translate opportunities into testable hypotheses with clear metrics.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, analysts, and ML teams to plan and launch improvements.
• Run experiments (A/B tests), analyze results, and scale successful solutions.
• Take end-to-end ownership of product outcomes.
