Jobtailor in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Product Analytics professional to own the onboarding journey from activation through to a transacting member, and to identify funnel leaks with data-driven decisions.

You will build funnel dashboards in Amplitude, define event taxonomy, and collaborate with Risk, Engineering and Sales. Proficiency with SQL and AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT is valued, and the role requires onsite work from London or Porto.

Qualificações

3–5 years in product focusing on onboarding or activation flows.
Experience building funnel dashboards in Amplitude.
Ability to define event taxonomy for data questions.
Experience owning a funnel and moving a metric.
SQL or self-serve data extraction for decision making.
Able to work with Risk, Engineering, Design and Sales independently.
Experience in payments/fintech or regulated environments is desirable.

Drive first-pass approval rate by reducing document friction, rework and manual escalations
Own the roadmap and data, identify funnel leaks, build business cases, prioritise initiatives and report outcomes
Use AI tools, reusable skills and automations to identify drop-off, draft requirements and accelerate delivery
Partner with Sales, Risk, Engineering and Design
Serve sales channels across European markets through the Sales Platform

Requirements

Roughly 3–5 years in product, ideally on an onboarding, activation or other conversion-sensitive flow
Experience building funnel dashboards in product analytics tools such as Amplitude
Ability to define event taxonomy and pose specific questions to be answered with data
Experience owning a funnel and moving a metric
Ability to pull numbers using SQL or a self-serve tool and turn them into focus decisions
Ability to work across Risk, Engineering, Design and Sales independently
Experience in payments, fintech, or another regulated environment such as KYC, identity or compliance is desirable but not required
Experience using Claude, ChatGPT or similar AI tooling
Interest in building agentic workflows
Commercial literacy and ability to connect activation improvements to revenue
Willingness to work onsite from the London or Porto office
Right to work in the relevant country, with work permit/visa status as applicable
