Job summary

Finom is a fast-growing European fintech offering an all-in-one financial platform for entrepreneurs. We are expanding across EU markets and seeking an Engineering Manager to lead 5-10 engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA to ship high-value products.

You will partner with PM and Design to focus on business outcomes, ROI, and scalable architecture while growing a strong engineering culture and team capability across Europe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams.
• Deep technical knowledge across languages and distributed systems.
• Experience in product-led organizations with international scope.
• Strong business acumen and ability to map engineering work to revenue and retention.
• Exceptional communication in English across all audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team (5-10 engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, QA) to deliver high-impact products for European businesses.
• Partner with PM to frame problems and prioritize by value and effort; discuss ROI and funnels.
• Balance feature delivery with technical debt and scalability; make trade-offs explicit.
• Own hiring, promotions, and growth plans; build engaged, productive teams.
• Drive delivery with Product and Design; communicate priorities, risks, and constraints.
