Job summary

Tact is seeking a full-stack Engineer to work with customers, owning features from discovery to release in an AI-native environment. You will contribute to architecture, testing and delivery on a TS/React/Next.js/Node.js stack running on GCP, with a focus on production-grade AI agents.

This role is fully remote, with bases in Lisbon, London or Berlin as needed, and includes 110k–160k EUR base salary plus equity.

Qualifications

• You'll work in a small team where engineers share ideas, review each other's work and take responsibility for what they build.

A fast-growing AI startup founded in 2025 that's raised nearly $50 million in its first year and is already working with major enterprise customers.

The company builds AI agents that automate complex business processes. These agents work across existing software, spreadsheets and business systems, completing tasks that would otherwise take people hours.

You'll join a small, experienced engineering team where you'll have the freedom to make decisions, solve difficult problems and help shape the product as the company grows.

What we're looking for

• Full-stack experience. You should be comfortable building software across the frontend and backend.
• AI-native development. You already use tools like Claude Code, Codex or Cursor regularly and understand how to use coding agents effectively.
• Product ownership. You have experience taking products or features from an initial idea through to production.
• Customer understanding. You can work directly with customers, understand their problems and make sensible decisions about what to build.
• AI experience. You've worked on AI products or have a good understanding of how AI agents and LLM applications work.
• Engineering quality. You understand architecture, testing, code reviews and how to build reliable software.

Experience working in a successful autonomous startup or small engineering team would be a strong advantage.

Technology

The main stack is TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js and GCP.

You don't need any experience with the technology listed. Strong software engineering skills and the ability to learn new tools are more important.
