Job summary

Tact is seeking a full-stack Engineer to work with customers, owning features from discovery to release in an AI-native environment. You will contribute to architecture, testing and delivery on a TS/React/Next.js/Node.js stack running on GCP, with a focus on production-grade AI agents.

This role is fully remote, with bases in Lisbon, London or Berlin as needed, and includes 110k–160k EUR base salary plus equity.

Qualifications

• Experience building software across frontend and backend.
• Experience with AI-native development and coding agents.
• Track record of taking products from idea to production.
• Ability to work directly with customers to understand problems.
• Understanding of AI agents and LLM applications.
• Strong emphasis on architecture, testing, and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• You'll work directly with customers to understand problems and build software that solves them.
• You'll take ownership of the full process, from understanding what needs to be built through to designing, developing, testing and releasing the product.
• The team uses AI throughout software development, including Claude Code, Codex, spec-driven development, parallel coding agents and automated testing.
• The aim is to spend less time writing code manually and more time making good product and engineering decisions.
• You'll work in a small team where engineers share ideas, review each other's work and take responsibility for what they build.
