Nokia in Portugal offers a 12-month Procurement Analyst Trainee internship focused on AI and digital transformation. You will support AI-powered procurement improvements, supplier onboarding, and data analytics using Power BI and Excel.

This program develops business and analytical skills, with exposure to cloud platforms and low-code tools. We encourage applicants with hands-on project work and a passion for emerging technologies.

Qualificações

Job Description

As a Procurement Analyst Trainee – AI & Digital Transformation, you will be immersed in a dynamic 12-month internship. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience with innovative technologies while developing business and analytical skills in a global technology company.

You will support initiatives that leverage Generative AI and data analytics, to improve procurement processes, contract management, supplier onboarding, and operational efficiency.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Support the implementation of AI-powered solutions to improve procurement processes and operational efficiency.
• Explore and apply Generative AI tools in procurement use cases.
• Create dashboards and insights using Power BI and procurement data.
• Assist with AI-enabled contract management and prompt engineering activities.
• Support financial planning activities and supply demand synchronization across operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic and operational initiatives.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

• Hands‑on experience delivering or participating in AI, Automation, or Digital Transformation projects through academic work, internships, hackathons, or personal initiatives.
• Basic understanding of data modeling , databases, and reporting concepts.
• Experience transforming, analysing and interpreting data, and creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar analytical tools
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, or other low‑code/no‑code technologies.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI‑assisted productivity tools such as such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or other cloud‑based data and analytics platforms.
• Experience working in multicultural or cross‑functional teams in an international environment.
• Demonstrated curiosity, continuous learning mindset, and enthusiasm for emerging technologies.
• Interest in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Intelligence and Digital Transformation.
