Job summary

Webasto Group is hiring for an experienced accounting professional in Lisbon to support central accounting processes and improve KPI tracking. The role emphasizes operational accounting across SSC functions, IFRS closing, and SAP-based workflows.

You will facilitate workshops, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and drive process improvements while leveraging Excel, Power BI, and SAP R/3 to deliver accurate accounting insights. Hybrid work with health benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operational accounting department, ideally in an SSC environment.
• Ability to run workshops and meetings.
• Ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization.
• Experience in month-end and year-end closing according to IFRS.
• Proficient with MS Excel and MS Power BI.
• Familiarity with SAP R/3: Accounting modules (AM, AR, AP, GL) and CO/PS.

Responsibilities

• Support the Accounting function within the business and assist central accounting processes, maintain documentation, and contribute to achieving operational and strategic goals.
• Create, develop, and track KPIs, ensure SLA compliance, and drive efficiency across processes.
• Support the transfer and integration of activities from international entities into the service organization.
• Implement process changes and improvements in all accounting processes with the support of Key Users and Operations Team Leads.
• Responsible for all training activities within WBS Accounting, based on the training catalogue within the Finance Academy, selecting, organizing the training materials, documentation, and trainers.

• Good understanding of SAP R/3: Accounting modules (AM, AR, AP, GL) & Controlling modules (CO, PS, EC-PCA und COUPA).
• Be a problem solver and have excellent communication, negotiation, and influence skills is highly appreciated.

Salary Range:

35k-44k
