We areseeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our established Data& AI team in Portugal.

This roleis built on a technical foundation. We are looking for someone who comes from ahands-on background — data engineering, AI/ML, platform or solutionarchitecture — and who now wants to move closer to the client without losingthat technical edge.

Your daywill be spent understanding what clients actually need, designing the rightsolution with the support of our specialist teams, and explaining that solutionclearly to everyone in the room, from engineers to executive sponsors. Backedby strategic partnerships with industry leaders and a strong portfolio of publicsuccess cases, you will turn complex challenges into effective technicalsolutions and business proposals.

We workacross both Data and AI, and need technical depth in both areas. You do notneed to be an expert in both: we welcome candidates coming from either a Dataor AI background, while valuing the curiosity and willingness to buildfamiliarity across the wider Data & AI landscape.

• Engagingdirectly with clients to understand their business context, technicallandscape, and real objectives.
• Leadingdiscovery sessions to gather, challenge, and qualify business and technicalrequirements.
• Designingand architecting end-to-end Data & AI solutions, working both autonomouslyand in collaboration with our specialist and delivery teams to validatefeasibility, effort, and risk.
• Translatingthose architectures into clear proposals, estimates, and roadmaps that clientscan understand and act upon.
• Presentingand defending the value of your solutions to diverse stakeholders, bothtechnical and managerial.
• Leadingand supporting Proofs of Concept (PoCs), from design through to demonstration.
• Stayinghands-on and at the forefront of Data & AI trends, ensuring our solutionsare always relevant, competitive, and technically sound.

You musthave:

We arelooking for an engineer at heart who wants to sit closer to the client. Tosucceed in this role, you should have:

• AGenuinely Technical Background: Real, hands-on experience in the Data or AI space (forexample: data engineering, cloud and GPU infrastructure, MLOps, software orsolution architecture) that allows you to design credible solutions and leadtechnical discussions with confidence.
• SolutionDesign Capability: The ability to take an ambiguous problem and shape it into a coherentarchitecture, covering data platforms, pipelines, ML and Generative AIworkloads, integration, security, and cost.
• AClient-Facing Ambition: A clear desire to spend your time with clients — listening, questioning, andpresenting complex ideas simply to both technical and managerial audiences.
• StrongBusiness Acumen: The ability to connect technical decisions to tangible, measurable businessoutcomes such as cost, time-to-market, and risk.
• AProactive & Collaborative Mindset: Knowing when to design alone andwhen to bring in the team, with a strong desire to learn, innovate, and drivecontinuous improvement within a team-first environment.
• AGenuinely Technical Background: Real, hands-on experience in either the Data or AI space(for example: data engineering, data platforms, ML/AI engineering, cloud orsolution architecture) that allows you to design credible solutions and leadtechnical discussions with confidence.

• NVIDIA: hands-on experience with GPUinfrastructure, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NIM, or inference optimisation.
• MicrosoftAzure and Google Cloud Platform: experience designing and certifications on eitherplatform.
• GenerativeAI in production: RAG, agentic systems, model serving, evaluation, andgovernance.
• Experiencewith modern data platforms, data pipelines, and Data Governance.
• Atrack record in a client-facing technical role (Pre-Sales, SolutionArchitecture, or Consultancy).
