act digital is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to define cloud strategy, drive transformations, and design secure, scalable cloud solutions in a hybrid Lisbon-based role.

You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, mentor teams, and promote governance, security, and cost optimization while staying aligned with regulatory requirements.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience designing, migrating, and operating cloud solutions in production environments.
• Strong background in software architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, IBM Cloud.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible; cloud-native architectures and microservices; CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code; Secure Development Lifecycle (SAST, DAST, SCA, CSPM); knowledge of cloud governance, security, and compliance (GDPR is a plus).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

We're looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to join an international technology team responsible for defining cloud strategy, driving cloud transformation initiatives, and designing secure, scalable, and innovative cloud solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multicultural environment, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders while shaping the future of cloud architecture within a large-scale enterprise.

• Hybrid model (2 days/week in the office)
• Lisbon, Portugal
• Candidates must already be based in mainland Portugal
• Design cloud architecture solutions aligned with business, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive cloud migration initiatives and support application modernization.
• Define architecture standards, design patterns, and reusable frameworks.
• Advise development teams on cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and container platforms.
• Promote cloud governance, security best practices, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to Proof of Concepts.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, providing architectural guidance and strategic recommendations.
• Mentor technical teams and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience designing, migrating, and operating cloud solutions in production environments.
• Strong background in software architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms:
