Akuo is seeking a Power Plant Manager to lead the operation of photovoltaic parks and battery storage systems in Portugal. The role will require coordinating safe, efficient energy production, supervising maintenance, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Based in Lisbon/Evora/Portalegre with regular asset visits. Responsibilities include energy forecasting, performance improvement, and active involvement with authorities, partners, and teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineer (or equivalent) with more than 2 years in renewable energy operations.
• Strong knowledge of Solar, Storage, and Wind assets.
• Located in Lisbon Area or Estremoz.
• Fluent Portuguese with English proficiency for international collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operation and energy forecast of assets, including energy billing.
• Lead HSSE compliance and implement robust safety procedures.
• Manage contracts, warranties, and subcontractor incidents; engage with authorities and communities.
