Job summary

Worldwide Recruitment Energy seeks a Senior Construction/Execution Project Manager to deliver a large-scale hybrid renewable energy project in Sabugal, Portugal. You will guide transition approvals through PAC and final handover to Asset Management, coordinating with procurement and engineering teams.

The role demands strong contractual, technical, and leadership capabilities across EPC, TSA, BOS/BOP, OEM and Owner’s Engineer frameworks, ensuring schedule, budget and QHSE compliance throughout

Qualifications

• 10+ years in large-scale energy infrastructure project management.
• Experience with EPC, TSA, BOS/BOP, OEM and Owner's Engineer contracts.
• Renewables experience: wind, solar PV, and BESS preferred.
• Occurs in Sabugal, Portugal or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution from transition approval to PAC and handover.
• Oversee a ~400 MW hybrid wind/solar PV + BESS project in Sabugal, Portugal.
• Define tender packages and scopes for EPC, TSA, BOS/BOP, OEM and Owner’s Engineer.
• Manage day-to-day contractual activities: changes, claims, penalties, EOTs.
• Maintain integrated master schedule using MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Monitor CAPEX budget, cash flow, forecasts and contingencies.
• Identify and manage technical, commercial, regulatory and execution risks; report monthly to senior management.
• Supervise on-site construction, ensure QHSE compliance.
• Manage relationships with contractors, TSO/DSO, consultants, lenders' advisors.
