Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a Content Moderator for our Lisbon office to review marketplace content, ensure policy compliance, and protect user trust. You will handle product listings, descriptions, images, and reviews while applying guidelines and escalating complex cases as needed.

The role requires Polish (C1/C2) and English (B2), 0–1 year of moderation experience, and eligibility to work in the EU or Portuguese residency.

Qualifications

Polish (C1/C2) language required
English (B2) language required
EU citizenship or Portuguese residency
0–1 year in content moderation or related analytics
Strong critical thinking, communication and decision-making abilities
Detail-oriented mindset and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Review product listings, descriptions, images, reviews and seller content for policy and quality compliance
Identify and take action on prohibited, deceptive, or low-quality content
Apply moderation guidelines consistently and make objective decisions
Monitor content from sellers and buyers to protect marketplace integrity
Escalate complex or high-risk cases per policies
Maintain high accuracy while handling high volumes of content
Collaborate with internal teams to support safety and compliance goals
Aim to meet defined performance targets for quality, productivity and turnaround times
Stay updated on platform policies and industry developments
Provide feedback to improve moderation processes and tools
