Job summary

Körber Supply Chain Automation is seeking a skilled PLC SW Engineer to lead software implementation and commissioning for cross-belt sorters on international projects. You will work with the SW library, describe software functions in design phases, and coordinate third-party interfaces.

The role requires strong TIA SW project planning expertise, extensive experience in automation systems, and the ability to travel ~50% to project sites. English proficiency and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Electrical engineer degree or master with relevant experience.
Experience in SW implementation and commissioning of sorter systems.
Advanced knowledge and several years in TIA SW project planning.
Extensive experience in SW project planning and commissioning for automation systems and fail-safe applications.
Experience in logistical or automation systems from industry.

Responsibilities

PLC SW engineering and commissioning for cross-belt sorters on international projects.
SW implementation and commissioning based on existing SW library.
Support project planning processes and SW library in close collaboration with development.
Describe planned software functionality and coordinate interfaces with third parties during design.
Ensure integration of PLC Standard Modules and use of the engineering tool chain in projects.
Support commissioning on customer systems per Körber standards, including integration and acceptance.
