Körber Supply Chain Automation seeks a PLC SW Engineer to support international sorters and conveyor projects. You will implement software from an existing library and integrate PLC modules within the project tool chain.

You will participate in commissioning on customer systems, travel up to 50%, and collaborate with an international team in a hybrid work setup with modern IT equipment.

Competenze

• Electrical engineering degree or master with professional experience in electrical automation.
• Several years of experience in TIA SW project planning.
• Extensive experience in SW project planning and commissioning for automation systems and fail-safe applications.
• Experience in technology logistics systems or automation systems in industry.

Mansioni

• Work in PLC SW engineering and commissioning for international projects in sorters and conveyor technology.
• Perform SW implementation and commissioning based on an existing SW library.
• Ensure integration of PLC Standard Modules and use of the engineering tool chain in the project.

Your role

• In this position, you will work in the field of PLC SW Engineering and commissioning of our international projects in the field of sorters and conveyor technology.
• You will carry out the SW implementation and commissioning based on an existing SW library.
• In doing so, you will ensure the integration of the PLC Standard Modules and the use of the engineering tool chain in the project
• You will accompany the commissioning on the customer's system in accordance with our standards, through integration and customer acceptance.

Your profile

• You have trained as an electrical engineer or master electrical engineer with professional experience or have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering and automation.
• You have advanced specialist knowledge and several years of experience in TIA SW project planning
• You have many years of experience in the field of SW project planning and commissioning for automation systems and fail-safe applications.
• You have several years of experience in the field of technological logistics systems or, alternatively, automation systems from industry.
• You have very good knowledge of the SIMATIC HW product range SPS S7-TIA & Drives
• You are also proficient in common bus systems such as Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus, AS-I Bus, CAN Bus
• We require very good English skills as well as intercultural competence and the ability to work in a team for this position
• A willingness to travel to our projects of about 50% is no problem for them.
