Moniepoint is seeking a Senior Leader to head Engineering for Sales and Marketing Tools, guiding a complex platform used by millions of users. The role focuses on platform engineering, reliability, and modernising legacy systems with a focus on scale and financial correctness.

You will drive architecture, oversee multiple engineering leaders, and partner with Product and Biz teams to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions across Africa and beyond.

Qualificações

• 10–15 years of overall software engineering experience.
• At least 5 years hands-on Java coding and shipping.
• 5+ years managing managers and leading engineering organisations.
• Proven platform engineering experience at scale with distributed systems.
• Experience with legacy migrations and re-architecture for 20M+ users.
• Strong backend skills in Java and Spring Boot.
• Fintech/payments background preferred; CRM/SalesTech not required.
• Exposure to customer engagement tools like Braze is a plus.
