Springer Nature is seeking a Platform Engineer to shape and grow a unified platform powering product teams across the organisation. You will focus on Platform as a Service, security, observability, and automation, enabling developers to move faster.

You’ll operate cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), manage Kubernetes deployments, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and internal databases. Collaboration across diverse teams is essential in a global, hybrid work setting.

Qualificações

• Experience operating, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
• Proficient in at least one: storage, routing, cloud networking, IAM, policy automation.
• Programming experience: Go, Python, JVM languages, or similar.
• Experience with Kubernetes deployments and operators/controllers.
• End-to-end ownership of platform services from design to production.

Responsabilidades

• Meet delivery responsibilities as a contributor to the engineering team.
• Build, operate and maintain core capabilities of the Engineering Platform.
• Treat Platform as a product with real customers.
• Build automation and self-service to accelerate product teams.
• Own and operate platform services end to end, including clusters, automation, CI/CD and observability.
• Provide technical support to product teams and feed learnings into the product roadmap.
