1GLOBAL is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Technology Department in Lisbon. You’ll build and evolve the infrastructure platform powering our engineering teams across multiple cloud providers, owning automation, networking, Kubernetes platforms, and shared services to enable secure, scalable delivery.

Fluency in English is essential for this role. You’ll collaborate closely with software engineers, SREs, and security teams to implement secure, scalable platform capabilities

Qualificações

• 5+ years building and operating cloud infrastructure, with strong AWS experience.
• Experience with Terraform-based modular architectures and tools like Terragrunt/Terramate.
• Strong Kubernetes operational knowledge, including managed services (EKS/OKE).
• Experience with Crossplane and infrastructure abstractions (XRDs/Compositions).
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, security groups, firewalls, and service meshes.

Responsabilidades

• Build Multi-Cloud Platforms: design, provision, and operate infrastructure across AWS, OCI, StackIT, OpenStack using IaC.
• Manage Kubernetes Platforms: operate and evolve managed Kubernetes environments (EKS/OKE).
• Platform Automation: develop reusable abstractions using Terraform, Terragrunt, Terramate, Crossplane.
• Operate Cloud Services: deploy and maintain managed cloud services (RDS, storage, networking).
• Own Platform Services: build and operate Kafka, Vault, ingress controllers, API gateways, Kubernetes Operators.
