Morson Edge (Technology) seeks a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-scale cloud platforms and an Internal Developer Platform (IDP). You’ll drive automation, standardisation, and cost-conscious operations across multiple teams.

As a senior contributor, you’ll shape platform strategy, improve developer productivity, and collaborate with Security, Architecture, and Product teams to raise the bar on reliability and governance.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE.
• Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Internal Developer Platforms (Backstage, Crossplane or similar).
• Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry and modern observability practices.
• DevSecOps, policy-as-code, secrets management and compliance automation.
• Platform governance, DORA metrics and developer productivity initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

We're partnering with a leading international SaaS technology organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Platform DevOps Engineer to join their growing Platform Engineering team.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the cloud platforms and developer experience that support a suite of business-critical SaaS products used by thousands of organisations worldwide.

The Role

As a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in building, evolving, and supporting enterprise-scale cloud platforms. Working closely with Engineering, Security, Architecture, and Product teams, you'll help drive automation, platform standardisation, and cloud-native best practices.

You'll have the opportunity to influence platform strategy, improve developer productivity, and contribute to the evolution of an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing scalable platform engineering solutions

• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Internal Developer Platforms (Backstage, Crossplane or similar)
• Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry and modern observability practices
• DevSecOps, policy-as-code, secrets management and compliance automation
• Platform governance, DORA metrics and developer productivity initiatives
• Strong communication skills and fluent English
