1487 Springer Nature Portugal, Unipessoal LDA is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to shape, build and improve unified platforms that empower product teams across Springer Nature. You will develop and maintain platform capabilities, ensure security and observability, and enable faster product delivery with automated tooling.

You will work in a distributed, global team focused on Kubernetes-based PaaS, Cloud Foundry coexistence, and a scalable internal database platform.

Qualificações

• Experience operating, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
• Proficiency in at least one modern language (Golang, Python, JVM-based) and automation patterns.
• Experience managing Kubernetes deployments and writing operators/controllers.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams delivering outcomes across the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver, operate and maintain core capabilities of the Engineering Platform.
• Treat the Platform as a product with real customers and maintain CI/CD and Observability systems end-to-end.
• Build automation, tooling and self-service to speed product teams.
• Provide technical support and translate learnings into the product roadmap.
