Job summary

Ivy Partners in Lisbon is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes, while delivering robust CI/CD pipelines and secure operations.

You will collaborate with development teams to automate deployments, monitor performance, and continually improve platform governance, reliability, and security across environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of platform engineering or DevOps experience.
• Hands-on Terraform for provisioning and management.
• Experience with Ansible for automation.
• Experience deploying workloads on Kubernetes.
• Scripting in Python or Bash and CI/CD practices.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices, primarily with Terraform.
• Automate configuration management and deployment processes using Ansible.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized workloads on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, and security, troubleshooting issues across environments.
• Define and promote best practices for infrastructure automation, scalability, and platform governance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform's architecture and operational processes.

About You

You are our ideal candidate if:

• Have at least 4 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Have strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Have experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Have solid experience deploying and managing workloads on Kubernetes.
• Are proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or equivalent) and familiar with CI/CD practices.
• Have experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
