Syffer is seeking an experienced Platform/DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate robust infrastructure across AWS and Nutanix. You will automate provisioning, implement infrastructure as code, and modernize legacy systems for cloud environments.

You will collaborate with Delivery, Data Analytics, and Architecture teams to deliver secure, scalable platform solutions and contribute to DevOps practices, documentation, and governance across the infrastructure landscape.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in Platform/Infrastructure/DevOps roles.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Hands-on with AWS services (EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda) and hybrid clouds.
• Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Rundeck.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
• Linux administration is a plus.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Autonomous, curious, solution-oriented mindset.

What You'll do:

• Designing, building, and operating robust infrastructure solutions across AWS and Nutanix environments.
• Developing automation solutions using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Rundeck to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK to standardize and automate cloud and hybrid environments.
• Modernizing legacy infrastructure by migrating and optimizing workloads for cloud platforms, improving performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborating with Service Delivery, Data Analytics, Integration, and Architecture teams to build secure, consistent, and scalable platform solutions.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, operational standards, and best practices to ensure governance, consistency, and compliance across the infrastructure landscape.
• Supporting CI/CD initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement of DevOps practices and platform engineering capabilities.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Engineer, or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Rundeck.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
• Linux administration skills (a plus).
• Experience with Nutanix (highly valued).
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• An autonomous, curious, and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
