A consulting company in Portugal is seeking an experienced PHP Backend Developer to join their team. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of experience with PHP and modern frameworks like Laravel or Symfony. We are looking for an Amazing: PHP BACKEND

Seniority: Minimum 4-5 years

Type of position: Hybrid (in Braga, Portugal)

The amazing you, will have:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong knowledge of PHP 7.4+ or 8.x.
• Experience with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and backend development best practices.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
• Fluent English (spoken and written) – used daily in the work environment.
• Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest, etc.) or manual testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of web security best practices.
