KCS IT is seeking a highly skilled .NET Backend Developer for a hybrid role based in Porto. You will design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using .NET/C#, REST APIs, and microservices within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of backend experience, strong OO design skills, and fluency in English. We offer hybrid work options in Porto and opportunities to work on diverse international projects and training programs.

We are looking for an Amazing: .NET Backend (HYBRID @Porto)

Seniority: +5 years

The amazing you, will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in backend software development with .NET/C#;
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, clean code, and software engineering best practices;
• Solid experience with .NET and ASP.NET Core, developing scalable and maintainable backend applications;
• Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and working with Microservices architectures;
• Strong experience with MySQL and relational databases, including SQL, database design, and query optimization;
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures will be a plus;
• Experience with Cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Good understanding of software testing practices, including unit and integration testing;
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and a DevOps mindset;
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in collaborative, cross-functional development teams;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
