Emma – The Sleep Company is offering an end-of-studies internship in Lisbon for students in Psychology, HR, Business Management, Law, or related fields. The role supports People Operations and payroll tasks across Europe, requiring fluency in English and Portuguese and strong teamwork.

The position fosters hands-on experience in a fast-paced international team. You will gain exposure to contract management, onboarding, off-boarding, and employee inquiries while contributing to ongoing People

Qualificações

• Enrolled in a program such as Psychology, HR, Business Management, Law, or similar and seeking an end-of-studies internship.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient with MS Office tools.

Responsabilidades

• Support People Operations Specialists in core processes and daily tasks.
• Assist with contract management, relocation, onboarding and off-boarding, and employee requests.
• Assist with monthly payroll preparation and processing for Europe offices.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries about documents and absences.
• Contribute to design, implementation, and evaluation of People Operations projects.
• Collaborate with Learning, People Development and Recruiting teams to enhance the people experience.

What you will do:

• You will support our People Operations Specialists in core People Process and their daily work
• You will work on contract management and relocation processes, onboarding and off-boarding as well as handling employee requests
• You will support People Operations Specialists on the monthly payroll preparation and processing for Europe offices
• You will be point of contact for Emmies inquiries about documents, absences, etc
• You will contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of current People Operations projects
• You will work closely with other P&O sub-teams (Learning, People Development and Recruiting) across the globe and together you ensure a good people experience for all Emmies
• You will be the owner of the People Operations knowledge base

Who we are looking for:

• You are currently enrolled as a student in a relevant program of study e.g., Psychology, Human Resources, Business Management, Law or similar and looking for an end-of-studies internship
• You are passionate about People Operations and people related topics
• You like challenges and a fast-pacing environment
• You are a team player, communicative and detail oriented
• You have good MS-Office skills
• You are fluent in both English and Portuguese.
