Your mission, roles and responsibilities
As a PC&L Digital Trainee, you will support the digital transformation of Production Control & Logistics processes by contributing to the development, optimization, and deployment of digital tools and data‑driven solutions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to improve data visibility, process efficiency, and decision‑making within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in Supply Chain digitalisation, analytics, and continuous improvement within the automotive industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the development and optimisation of digital tools used within the PC&L department.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret logistics and production planning data to support operational decision‑making.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Contribute to the automation and digitalisation of logistics and planning processes.
- Support data quality improvement initiatives and ensure data accuracy across systems.
- Assist in the management and enhancement of ERP and other Supply Chain‑related systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis and digital solutions.
- Collaborate with Logistics, Production, IT, and Continuous Improvement teams on digital projects.
- Participate in Industry4.0 and Smart Factory initiatives related to Supply Chain and Logistics.
- Support end users in the adoption and effective use of digital tools and systems.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Digital Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, and Process Improvement.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Power‑BI, PowerQuery, SQL, Python, VBA, or similar analytical tools is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and digital business applications is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work with large datasets and transform data into actionable insights.
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
