Decskill, a growing IT consulting company, seeks a Mid/Senior Application Support Engineer for a hybrid role in Porto. You will provide operational and Level 3 support across production environments, focusing on stability and incident response.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years in IT infrastructure, strong Linux skills, scripting, web servers, CI/CD, monitoring, and disaster recovery experience. You will collaborate with development/infrastructure teams to drive projects and automation.

Qualificações

6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, application support, or similar.

Responsabilidades

Provide operational and Level 3 support across production environments (incident resolution, changes, maintenance, on-call).
Ensure application and infrastructure stability, defining monitoring metrics and improving system resilience.
Coordinate technical operations and change management (deployments, infrastructure updates, disaster recovery procedures).
Drive technical projects with development and infrastructure teams (planning, architecture, execution).
Manage and monitor job scheduling, application performance, and system capacity.
Maintain and improve monitoring, alerting, and automation processes.
Manage backups and disaster recovery plans, including regular testing.
Document application architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with development teams to define and support application architectures aligned with infrastructure standards.
