Job summary

HN Services Portugal seeks a Trade Support professional to monitor daily fixing of OTC rate derivatives and update market rates for frontline traders in Lisboa.

The role requires collaboration with Front Office and IT, building Excel models for exotic rates, and investigating discrepancies to ensure accurate settlements.

Qualifications

• Experience with OTC derivatives and market data processes.
• Ability to build and maintain Excel models for rate calculations.
• Understanding of fixed income and derivatives markets.
• Familiarity with financial software and controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily fixing of OTC rate derivatives in financial markets.

We’re looking for a Trade Support (Lisboa)

Who We're Looking For:

Professional Experience & Technical Skills:

• Monitor the daily fixing of OTC rate derivatives in the financial markets;
• Control the daily update of market rates (Reuters, Bloomberg, and Central Banks) on behalf of front officers;
• Collaborate with Front Office and IT teams in the creation of new rates;
• Build Excel spreadsheets for the calculation of exotic rates (inflation, power dual, ratchet, range accrual);
• Investigate and resolve interest discrepancies before payment dates, and support the analysis of payment incidents;
• Monitor and reprocess fixing advices when required.
• Solid understanding of Financial Markets, particularly Fixed Income and Derivatives;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Knowledge of operational processes and controls;
• Experience with financial software (Murex knowledge is a strong plus).
