Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a proactive O2C Collections specialist (FR Speaker) in Porto to manage customer receivables and drive timely payments. You will operate within Sodexo Business Services, supporting European markets and collaborating with multiple financial teams.

Candidates should have 3+ years of relevant experience and bilingual English/French proficiency, with strong accounting knowledge. The role offers opportunities to grow professionally within a global leader in services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Fluent in French also required.
• Knowledge of accounting/finance; degree preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving KPIs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient IT skills (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage customer portfolios and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Execute collection activities: reminders, dunning letters, and collection calls.
• Investigate and resolve payment disputes and invoice issues.
• Monitor AR aging reports and analyze overdue balances.
• Engage with customers to secure timely payments and reduce aged debt.
• Process write-offs and refunds per policy.
• Support credit risk assessments and customer account reviews.
• Participate in credit committee meetings and debt reviews.
• Manage escalations and maintain relationships with key customers.

O2C Collections - FR Speaker

What will you do?

• Manage customer portfolios and follow up on outstanding receivables.

What you'll need to succeed?

• More than 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Knowledge on verbal and written English
• Strong command of verbal and written English and French (both mandatory)
• Good Accounting/Financial knowledge (Degree it`s an advantage)
• Proven track record of achieving KPI’s
• Good communications skills
• Team player
• Good IT skills including Word/Excel
• Language requirements (applicable in some countries)
• Pro-active, responsive and action orientated
• Ability to work under pressure
• A focus on quality and alignment to Sodexo’s values
