Job summary

UPS Portugal is seeking a Team Leader to manage daily operations, coach the team, and ensure efficient logistics workflows. The role requires night shifts (22:00–06:00), strong problem-solving, and effective decision-making within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have vocational education or a degree, with logistics experience, and fluency in Portuguese; English level is intermediate, Spanish a plus. Travel readiness expected.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who is flexible, analytical, enjoys solving problems, and can make decisions.
• A vocational/professional education is required; a university degree is an asset.
• Previous team management experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
• Schedule flexibility with night hours 22:00–06:00.
• Intermediate English; Spanish is a plus.
• Fluency in Portuguese is required.
• Experience in Logistics, Warehousing, and Transportation preferred.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the team under your responsibility.
• Communicate work instructions, safety guidelines, procedures, and meetings.
• Coach and train team members.
• Plan daily resources and adjustments, including holidays.
• Manage daily collections backlogs and the related team.
