Decskill is seeking a Network Security Engineer to reinforce our security infrastructure across client projects in Porto. You will supervise security operations, deploy and upgrade devices, and participate in on-call rotations to maintain service reliability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with firewall, WAF, DNS, and perimeter security, plus automation / DevOps skills using Ansible and Python. Fluency in French B2 is a plus, and collaboration within a team is essential.

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Supervision and level 2 to 3 support on the security infrastructure, internet, market data and partners;
• Upgrade and deploy security devices on the network;
• Design solutions for new technologies or versions, client projects and needs, capacity planning and resiliencies;
• Automate perimeter processes and controls;
• Take part in night and weekend operations when needed;
• Be part of the service on-call duty;

On the deployed technologies, perform common operations:

• VIP creation:
• DMZ creation;
• Trace on a firewall or a WAF;
• Checking logs.

Perform advanced debug activities:

• Advanced technical commands;
• Checking the status of packets sent for synchronization on a Fortinet.
• Installation from scratch;
• Configuration;
• Testing.
• Carry out proof of concept activities for new functionality and/or technology.

• More than 5 years of experience working on security infrastructure solutions;
